I've yet to go to NEMF but I REALLY wanna go this year since the lineup is pretty stacked. Anyone here go to any of the previous New England Metal Fests?

15 hour drive from Chicago D: but I'm pretty sure a lot of my friends would wanna road trip it anyways.

"TONY DANZA TAP DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA"

they're actually quite good.
most bands drop the whole humor aspect of their music once they get big.
but they keep their music humorous AND keep that name to fend off close minded listeners that they don't want listening to their band.
They want to keep writing music for people interested in the genre and not to turn out like bands like every time I die and dillinger escape plan trying to make a living and the BIG BUCKS.

TDTDE's newest cd is about a midget that gets made fun of and beaten up at a bar so he goes out to his truck, grabs a chainsaw, and cuts everyone to pieces lol..

if you're at all interested in what they sound like.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3JxAanEiV5w

I'll consider going just to see Ministry. Hour and 20 minutes is worth it for those guys.

basically gigantour + a few international bands currently touring the country + domestic metal. if i was anywhere close i'd be all for attending but all the acts i want to catch will be touring locally soon

Yeah, but we get LA Murderfest. No lame bands like Job For A Gay Cowboy and Waking The Cadaver.

Stick to Your Guns, Shai Hulud & Sleeping Giant are the only things that caught my eye.

And those are HARDCORE bands. Not even metal bands...

that's why it's a metal and hardcore festival, although the name of it lets you think otherwise.

That's where they're from lol.

Good to see Skeletonwitch getting to a festival like this. They're an awesome band and deserve some more attention.
