That is too bad. I'm not sure how they expect to compete. If they were sold/moved to another city, their name would probably change too. Oklahoma Marlins?

If they move to another town I would hope the new city would at least realize the plural of marlin is still marlin.

First of all, they aren't moving anytime soon. Especially with a bigass stadium on the way. Secondly, it is acceptable to say Marlins as the plural of marlin.
