ICGL (International)

International Competition Gaming League will kick off in a matter of weeks.

Our Goal:
To combine US/Canada/Euro players and clans into one solidified division.

This is a 3v3 ADL (OvD) league.

Match times are subject to change but, as an early projection they will most likely be played on thursdays at aprox 6:30 PM (this will cater to the euro players interested in joining) as most are 5-7 hours ahead of US eastern time.

Website is currently under construction and will be up in about a week or so.

I will be doing up a ICGL server.cfg as we near the debut.

We are also looking for a few admins of all realms (US, Euro and Canada) to help manage the league. If interested PM myself in #redefined or blind in #aggfor .

We do have an irc channel registered on gamesurge but, we will not release the info until our website is up and we have a full staff on hand.

Feel free to add any maps, times and or thoughts to this project.

i will bump the thread once again with irc info as soon as our website is up and functioning indicating we are open for business.

This was just an early post to get any kind of feedback from the community.

EDIT: Any and all current Bans on STA/UGC or any european leagues will be lifted. We will give you the benefit of the doubt on our debut. However if you are caught hacking, you will obviously be executed VIA firing squad. It's not going to be maps like dustbowl or anything of that gay caliber. Just regualar O vs D style (like how our pickups are ran) Blue O - Red D - Rnd two switch it up. You're all familiar with it.

Why use such small teams?

... wait, this isn't ADL, this is #free.tfc/#fourtress/#tfc.gather.us style play. This should be moved to the TFC form. Maybe you could clarify that for me... are you playing monkey, raiden or maps like cornfield, osaka?

Yes, i should of made it more clear. This is not exactly your run of the mill ADL. Maps like Dustbowl ect... will not be played. This is more along the lines of how pickups are ran. Regular CTF maps will be ran in the league.

I appologize for any mixup. I thought the ADL section would be the proper place to put the thread. Essentially you are attacking then defending or visa versa. Regular O vs D that we are familiar with is what this league is all about.

But to clarify, this is not your classic ADL league. Feel free to move the thread to it's respective place.

We should be taking clan applications by late next week. ill keep you posted.

Standard OvD rules will apply. They may alter a little as we will apply both the euro and US rules jointly

I reckon the admins don't frequent this section of the forums much and thus I doubt they will move your post. I strongly suggest you post in the Team Fortress Classic forum section if you want to get more traffic and higher visibility to those that play 4v4 OvD practically every day.
