Demo won't work

i recently recorded a demo and when i try to play it, it would make a split second sound of the demo, get out of console and say "Mod_Extradata: caching failed" on a lil window and close up HL. Anyone know why this is happening?

Is there anywhere we can download the demo to see for ourselves? You're using the same mod/version of HL that the demo was made with, correct? It may just be that the demo is corrupt.
