AC Sounds

can everyone post their modified AC sound? mine is default and anoying as hell, what I'd really like, is effect what happens when the gun "dry fires" and you can barely hear the gun in the background while otherwise enjoying silence except when your opponent dies ;)

Not sure if these are the type of AC Sounds (http://wingnut.myip.org/weapons.zip) that you're looking for?? Put them in your sound/weapons folder.

I made (ganked) some decent ones from the Doom 3 alpha leak that I submitted to custom-tfc right before it went down. I don't have a host but I'm usually in #rot on gamesnet (Roscoe) if anybody wants them.

The file is #2.wav in tfc/sound/weapons and all I did was open it with the lame windows sound player and go to the decrease volume about 10 times, so it sounds like the dryfire effect now =)

Can somebody briefly tell me how to make the sound louder or quieter? (Which program, etc.) Thanks!
