Ideas for money making via internet

Well, my job would be much better if my hours were stable, but since being a person who sets up for banquets has hours solely based on the amount of contracts, I can have ZERO hours in a week, which has been happening lately.

I wanted some ideas where I could make money through the internet, like selling things (computers). I wasn't sure about selling computer parts because it seems it requires massive competition that I just don't have the time to compete with these large companies.

What if I were to start a local computer business? Just building computers for people around here? Does it require a lot of work?

I don't think it would be tooo much of a hassle to build custom computers for people. The problem is the people that would appeal to, who wouldn't find Dell no-slots-avail comps attractive, would build their own computers. You'd have to find a market of people who know that alot of the more pre-built computers are more expensive and less quality, who can't build their own computer, but know what parts they want.

Ok that was confusing. If you can find a market, people will buy. Just have to get the word out :P Do it free of any service charge (or half off...whatever) for a few people and tell them to spread the word, that sort of thing :P
