Today I hooked up an IBM 20" P200 CRT monitor to my radeon 9500. I did the refresh force thing to lock its refresh rates so I wouldn't get that annoying 60 fps cap. However, even after I used refresh force, the monitor STILL locks in at 60 fps. This monitor can supposedly support 100 fps at 1024x768 (according to refresh force) but whenever I manually set it to that rate, there are small wavy distortions in the middle of the screen. Even weirder is it only happens when I have a window (control panel, my computer, etc. etc.) open on the screen. Whenever I open control panel it does this weird zoom in thing, then goes back to the normal setting. The monitor was installed as an IBM P200, not as a plug and play. Is my monitor not capable of those refresh rates or is it just being goofy?
BTW it's a refurb monitor.
Edit: Also on the monitor tab in the display settings, it says 100 hz is the only refresh rate it supports at 1024x768.
