OpenGL problem

Hey I am having an open GL problem... I will be playing TFC in opengl mode and it will randomly just lock up.. this does not happen in direct 3d but with direct3d I get such crappy fps that it is not fun playing.

This happened before in the past. I had a Geforce 1 back then and I have a GeForce 4 now... still having the same problem. My system is a 1.33 ADM Athlon, 512 DDR, Windows 2000, Asus Motherboard (if that matters).. other info can be provided.

I also recently updated to the latest directx drivers and the new NVIDIA video drivers.

u overclocking ur card too much? how much video ram are u partitioning to ur gl drivers? any conflicting video drivers noticed? try uninstalling ur video drivers then reinstalling the newest.
