Losing connection on router

Ok, i just bought a linksys 8 port router. i did the cd config thing and all that but when i go to play tfc, sometimes i will just lose my connection, sometimes it comes back, other times it doesnt. But when i connect directly to my modem, my connection is fine. Any help is much appreciated.

make sure youre ip isnt in the dmz in the adv configuration menu.

I have the 4 port, but Linksys is pretty good about releasing updated firmware when they know of a problem. check their page and update if necessary.

same problem, only i have a dlink


and eh, im not great with computers


how do i fix it?

io had same prob with a SMC, tok it back, bought a dlink and it works

If you have Cable is should be fine. But if you have DSL make sure that you set it up through the router meaning your login and password and what not you have. If you dont know how to do that you can PM me in #clanfart if you need ne help!
