A FX 5200 is in the same league of ripping off the consumer as the geforce4 mx. It has directx9 support but it is so crippled that when a game that comes out which uses the features, it won't run at more thna 7 to 10 fps. Just look at a 3dmark2003 bench on the Nature game test, which uses dx9 shaders. The 5200 can only muster at most 9fps, and that's coupled with a 3Ghz cpu.
Ep.

The 5200, like the MX series is billed as a maintream / value product, not a gamer / enthusiast or professional product. NVidia makes no pretense about the product and prices it accordingly. It's ABSURD to phrase this as 'ripping off the consumer'.

I'd consider GF4 MX'es as ripping off, as they're just an optimized GF2 chip.
