Yep dotn know why. After I yanked my sound card it was fune until now, its been about a week and a half maybe 2. With no problems but with soem occassional locking up but it wasnt the kind where u cant do anything. I usually could alt-ctrl-del and shutdown hl and go back in. Yet one time it did it. I thoguth maybe it was fluke. Then happened before match on monday. Then a dram cooler came in, put that on my dram just in case. Then tonight it has happened twice, once in a before a 5vs5, then once just now in practice. Dont understand it I thougth I eliminated the problem. But It seems to be locking up whenever my case temp is at 95* F and cpu at 116* F. Help...plz.

Check that you havent set a temp warning in your bios. Some BIOS's throtle the cpu speed down if it gets to a certain temp specified by you.
Without knowing your systems specs thats the only thing i can think of.

ok well its not a heat issue. It locked up again while the case was at 89* F and the cpu was at 111* F. But it locks updifferently than when i had the sblive! on. It sorta plays a sound, but very faintly, u have to listen carefully to hear it. When with the sblive it would just keep playing this sound over and over really damn loud.

I just ran it, I got no errors. Maybe its a software thing? I ordered a 80gb harddrive about a fuckign month ago and the basturd still hasnt sent it so when I get it im just gonna install win2k from scratch and everythign else.

Also, If I take everythign out it would only be the video card. Im running onboard sound and onboard ethernet. I bet its either the board, drivers or some kind of software/irq conflict maybe?
