New Laptop?

I'm looking to get a new laptop soon and was looking for some advice on what to get. I've looked at tons of sites but nothing beats first hand knowledge from owners. I'm looking at the Toshiba Libretto L5 (http://www.dynamism.com/libretto/index.shtml) or Sony Vaio U3 (http://www.dynamism.com/u3/index.shtml). I'm open to suggestions but I want it small and have a soft budget of $2000US. No PDAs please.

get a dell or ibm thinkpad, only 2 i recommend, and they have great support(which you do need for laptops)

Thanks guys.. those are nice systems but I'm looking for something small and light. Was hoping to get some input from anyone who owns one of the aforementioned models. Thanks again.
