Hack?

Dont use hacks so I dont know much about them, so I am asking this out of curiousity/ignorance.

I was on Gibgames SF 1 on offense and the flag hasnt returned in a really long time and I couldnt find it anywhere. I press the key to tell me who has the flag, and it says that I do...but I dont. So I kill myself thinking maybe its a glitch on my part and the same thing. Then this moron starts doing the throw the flag and get it again and in the text it says that I am the one losing the flag and getting it again. Apparently somehow someone was using my name, but it wast showing that one the player list. I was the only one with my name on either team. He had his name, "Ill" I think, but anything he did the text would say I was doing it. He could also type in global or team messages and it would say that I was saying it. Can an admin do this or is it a hack, or what?

There is no admin mod at Gibgames.. As for how it was happening, I have no clue.

i remmeber a long time ago,a few updates back,mygot guys would exec commands like,what ever key you hit on your keyboard you would die,this sounds similiar to what you experienced,but these commands where hacks involving admin mod's.i dont think gibgames tfc servers use admin mods,next time mabe make a demo of this activity,demo's are easy to make just go into your console and typ"record 1.dem" then just typ stop in console to end the recording,you will find these recordings in your tfc folder.

i believe thats similar to the drop all weapons and lock u in place crap u used to see in cs on every 3rd server... same concept.... not quite as bad as rebinding all ur buttons and killing the ~ key.... thats why i back up my console on 3 buttons :p and always save ur config. sometimes u get nasty admins that rebind ur keys for shits n giggles

Ill. That name was sorta what I saw on V's b-hop server this morning. But there we're 2 people with the same name. He changed it a lot. Catgarfield was another. Then he changed his name to mine. But anyways he was a scout that could also shoot pipes. Fast pipes, fast det.

this happened to me once..i just left the server in case they started messing with my configs and stuff. solocreep unban me from gibgames!
