Every so offen when im using the computer, it will make a weird beep noise...Nothing really seems to happen but if specs help :

Athlon XP 1600+
Geforce 4 ti 4400
MSI Motherboard KT3V Series
512 DDR RAM

Just curious to what might be doing it and why...

Bump,

Is that a normal temperature...
I checked my fan/heatsink on the cpu and it seems to be secured and is working...

K..this is also kind of odd here once again, supposvley this cooler xp program that came with my msi motherboard made the temperature drop to 55...what is that exacly about?

*edit* Im just kind of reluctant to take off the heatsink, I'm not good at things inside of the computer, I don't want to screw anything up. Maybe you can suggest some sites that have some tutorials on how to do it...

Are you sure its coming from the computer? Most Univeral Power Supply (UPS) units beep when the power is low.. check to make sure thats not the issue.
