Well, my trusty old Tatung monitor is finally on its way out after almost 5 years of faithful service. The color is going, I'm getting shadows on outlines, a large black line down the center of the monitor... you get the picture.
Anyway, I'm now looking for a new monitor to replace this one. Prefferably a half decent 19 inch or higher monitor for under $500 Canadian. Shipping to Canada IS NOT required, as I have relatives in the US who can ship it up to me as a 'present', but I would PREFER a site based in Canada to avoid the hassel of shipping across the border and the possible advent of duty charges that Canadian Customs are notorious for slapping onto products ordered from the US (trying to encourage buying within Canada, you see).
Anyone have any suggestions? The name and model number of a monitor at least will give me some ideas, I have a local computer shop in town that orders factory direct and can give me some very good prices on things. At most a link directly to the item would be VERY appreciated. :)
