Hi.

Nfection will be holding a 2vs2 Tournament called "Alpha Beta". August 1st we'll be stopping all form submits and closing all joins, following this.. August 5th we'll begin the tournament. Just for the convenience of naming the brackets Alpha and Beta, we'll stick to simplistics here. Basically, this is a 2vs2 tournament for people looking to either join the guild, or play for fun.

In our 32 slotted bracket (Alpha), the team that wins will be ]N[ members and the runner up team will receive invites.

In our 16 slotted backet (Beta), people will be able to compete against other teams for shits and giggles.

Information:

1) Matches are played on the day scheduled.
2) Teams Choose their own time to play their designated match but they must be played on the day designated.
3) 3 people LIMIT per team. This is a 2v2, so the 3rd will be an alternate if needed.
4) All people in the winning team will be a -]N[ member.
5) All people in the runner up team will be invited to tryout for -]N[.
6) Maps chosen by admins MUST be played by the teams in the tourney.
7) Matches will be played starting on August 5th, 2003.
8) Turn results into Knuckles`-K or Redalert-]N[ in #nfection A.S.A.P

Some guidelines that run along the Alpha bracket:

- Soldier Defense Only.
- Medic Offense Only.
- 15 minutes rounds with 2 minute prematches.
- Yard defense IS allowed if necessary.
- Each Team is allowed 2 restarts. If a team of a scheduled match isn't able to show or able to field both members before prematch ends, the team will forfeit and the winning team will advance with a win.
- Any foul play, the team will be handled accordingly.

Some guidelines that run along the Beta bracket:

- Soldier & Demoman Defense Only.
- Medic & Scout Offense Only.

More rules and information to be posted on a more organized and put together website shortly. Idle #Nfection for more information.

To sign up for the AlphaBeta 2vs2 Tournament, please fill out this form (http://knux.snafuclan.com/ntourny/tourny.html ) and submit. The form will be directly sent to Knuckles, where he will screen for cheaters and such. There, he'll set your name into a database and we'll set you in your selected brackets.

We have around 12 teams signed up and have 20 more slots to fill. Please sign up if you're interested. There's not a team in the tourney that any of you can't beat. A 32 team tourney is MUCH better than a 12 team tourney.

Please Join Channel #ntourney on gamesnet if you have questions or problems of any sort

I understand where you're coming from, but ktslim did this because we dont' want just 3 people to be let in. Especially when one may not even play. It makes sense, and I do feel your sympathy, but it's only right to do so.
