I use 768/129 DSL. I can only download at 100 max. My upload is average of 15-20. I normally get a 70-80 ping. If i were to upgrade to the 768/768, would my upload be around 100? If not what would it be. Also, would a higher upload rate give me a better ping? or a more stable ping? Or does upload have no effect on ping?

Your upload would be approximately around 100. As far as helping you ping better, I don't know about that. I doubt it though. I think ping depends more on distance and routing.

No it won't help your ping at all because when you played TFC your line isn't even saturated with the amount of bandwidth you're using. Unless you're on 56k, but thats a whole other story.

You don't send all that much to the server while you play so your ping shouldn't change that dramatically. That much upload would allow you to say host hltv and play at the same time or alow multiple people to play tfc on your one connection.
