star wars galaxies, worht it? (need a game to play for a week)

im grounded for a week and need a game to play to keep my ass occupied while i go insane, any suggestions? is galaxies worth it?

Umm... You better intend to play it for more than just that week. You won't get far in it in just a week, as you won't in any MMORPG. You also reason you have to pay by the month after your first month free. Anyways, check out other threads, some people love it others hate it. I would recommend Dark Age of Camelot for an MMORPG, but, addmitedly, I haven't played SWG.

i know me and a few others play shadowbane. its a good game if your into alot of pvp :). they have a free 10 day trial for download, go check it out.

yeah I wouldn't reccomend galaxies unless you plan on playing it for awhile. It's online only and has a monthly fee. If you have an Xbox, Kights of the Old Republic owns. Played over 20 hours in 3 days. I've barely left the house.
