I think .flc files are the best codec if you want no loss of quality, because it uses PCX compression which is run-length encoding and not lossy at all

encode at a higher bitrate.

what are you at now? and what resolution?

i don't know the bit rate, but the res is 640x480. the starmovie fps was 30.
