First things first: I'd like to clarify that GTO is not dead, it lost quite a lot of members and looked pretty much done for, but Smitdog has decided to keep it going, and in order to do that he's gonna need recruits... stop by #gtotfc and pm him if you're interested :)
Unfourtunately I'd already made plans based on the apparent demise and dismemberment of what has been my tfc home over the past two years, so GTO and I will be parting ways, at least for a little while.
I was gonna do one of those things where you list everyone's name and say what you liked about them, but I'm not feeling very eloquent tonight...

Idog, if we didn't live two thirds of a nation apart I'd challange you and your gf to a 2v1 on ofire ;x
Fatal, dunno how often you read the cats anymore... you were easily my best "internet friend", hope you can keep in touch.
McManus, coolest guy I know, better at tfc than he'll admit, extremely generous and quite dedicated, and I love your accent :p
Uno, I'm extremely sorry that we haven't been on the best of terms, especially recently, but you're still someone I look up to, thanks for all the ggs.
Badfish, wish we'd gotten to play together longer than it turned out, you're still the first person who really inspired me to learn soldier (I still suck, but taht's no fault of yours).
Seeker and Sandman, our two old guys in gto, you two usually provide a refreshing contrast to the somewhat more than occasional immaturity and hot tempers ingame and on irc, win or lose was no big deal to you as long as we had fun.
Hershey, only person who ever came close to replacing fatal as a friend and 1v1/2v2 partner, never had any problems owning me over and over again until dawn, quite possible did the most to single handedly improve what little skill I have. maybe we'll clan together again eventually :o
older gto members like pornstar and zombie and PD, but they also helped shape this game for me, and probably had a hand in how I play tfc today (zombie showed me just how good a medic could be, porn was a living example that there is in fact such a thing as natural talent, and for a long time was someone I looked up to for owning at tfc, PD flat out owned me and still does)
span and rake, span scares me, he wins at tfc and rl too which shouldn't be possible.. rake is a very cool kid, almost as much fun as fatal to clan with.
to all the newschool gto that span and uno brought in (ebum, bow, nas, nox, niggle, killmatt, juju, snatch, link, techn9ne, bigbt etc), I didn't really get to know you all that well, so beyond a few basic things (niggle > tfc, he's the best medic I've never heard of, link is hands down the best soldier I've ever seen play tfc, snatch is 2nd :p) I can't really say much aside from GG.
to all GTO past and present, I love you guys (in a non-gay kind of way), thank you for everything.
