View Full Version : UGC TFC 7vs7 Season 4 Change!

After hearing many complaints about our 2 HWGuy limit in 7vs7 for some time now, the UGC admins have decided unanimously to change the HWGuy limit from 2 to 1 for Season 4. The negative effect of this change is that we will be further limiting defensive strategies, however we feel this is only a minor issue considering the policy change will allow for more diversity in defensive strategies freeing up atleast one defender to play a position other than Soldier or HWGuy. Also, the match should be a bit more enjoyable for offensive players who no longer have to deal with constant MIRV spam and AC crossfire.
A reminder, this policy change does not come into effect until Season 4's Preseason. You can download the edited server cfg file here:

Does that mean you've got a limit on soldiers already?

No, there is no limit on Soldiers. I was simply stating that because Soldiers tend to be utilized the most in Defensive strategies.

Heh, you're welcome. If you are looking for a 7vs7 then UGC is probably the best place at the moment. I know RCL just got rid of their entry fee so you could also look at them. As for 5vs5 there are lots of choices... STA, TFL, IGL, UGC, MLF. Good luck in finding what you are looking for!

I've always respected UGC. I was there in the first 7-7 season and thought it was a ton of fun. I know the admins really do a hell of a lot to promote the league, which is great to see. Like i said, we're just tossing ideas around right now, but I would be happy to support UGC if it is in fact 7-7 we go with, but there are a lot of things within your rules I would have to read before we committed.
