Well this is just a very very small taste of what's in the avi. I will make another trailer shortly to show what has been done with the screenshots thus far.

Thanks to everyone for contributing, I hope you enjoy the preview. I whipped it up very quick so it's nothing too fancy.

By the way, for those of you asking, the origenal MORE THEN MEETS THE EYE is now hosted at the same link. There's been a lot of people asking to see it, so I decided to upload it to the same spot, it's under MTME.zip I think. It's over 13 minutes long at about 160megs or so. It's worth a look. It takes a look at aspects of TFC. It's also wrongfully titled MORE THAT MEETS THE EYE, due to my alcohol issue at the time. I hope you all enjoy it. Thanks to everyone for keeping up! be patient! Why not use the footage from the old-school demos themselves?

I have uploaded a few of them on the demogarage and if I ever get enough time, I plan on uploading about a dozen more. All old school clans such as:

|KoD|, Zt., CNBL, [cDD], |HOP|, |iKK|, **KEA**, [FOoM],-|{-, [MiD], [HoS], PF., .aD, and more...

If you are thinking of doing this, let me know and I can post a listing of all my old school demos for you.

Some of you were looking for the old Paul B. Avi twilight, (yea I have that but it's too large to post for ya) but I did find an old personal demo of Paul B. that people might like to see.

This probably isn't old school but
After Zt were created they pretty much immediately toppled the best at the time, and started out with a 13 game win streak or so over KoD, SD, CNBL etc

We were a second tier/unknown/newb clan at the time (more than we currently are)...that was a fun night because it was a huge comeback win to do it and hand them their first loss (and oh did massacre pull his hair out :p)

Once again, I cant thank you guys enough. Any more questions, feel free to post them, here are some of your answeres:

1. |CO| is listed
2. There may be some guilds, not sure just yet.

Here are some more things that will be featured in the avi:

1. Random match footage compliments of HLTV's. Random people will be showcased, it's going to be random action in game. Most footage will be very basic. Outside of my personal footage, it will showcase most action just out of the blue. It will take a look more of the aspects of what goes on during matches.

2. The screenshots will be used mainly for the look at our past and present. They are more used somewhat as a "shout out" to the clans pics that are being used.

3. Not every clan listed will be shown, but their tag will at least be mentioned or shown via a specific tribute video in the avi as it goes on or ends.

4. Some clans that arent listed will be shown via screenshot.

I'm trying to get at least one screenshot of every clan listed, although It may not be possible, I will try my best. This avi is going to have a lot of work put into it. Anyone willing to help is more then welcome, I'm open to all suggestions. I'm not stubborn, every idea will be taken into consideration, and all help as well.

Last but not least, I dont expect this avi to please everyone, because that's impossible. However, I will do my best to make it one to remember.

Ok everyone, excellent work, and the only way I figure I can thank you all is by a mention in the avi or the avi itself. Thanks a lot to those who have pm'd me and posted, it's been a big help so far.

Here's an update on the avi:

I need more screen shots from other clans. I can get almost every clan on the list, the problem is this:

They are all against the same clans: [bM], |404|, PF, -|{-, etc.

I will already admit, those clans will be featured the most because they have a lot of old screens and old history, but many old and new clans will be featured too, they will mostly be shown against those clans. If nobody has a problem with this, I dont mind. I need a few more of others though.

This avi wont be done for probably a while, but I will try to get the trailer up within the next week or so.

Time to answer some more questions:

1. "More Than Meets The Eye" will be up and running as soon as I get the site to work for the host, for those of you asking for it. It's my first avi wich got many good reviews. It looked at aspects of TFC including matches, 2v2's, scrims, pubs and all sorts of things.

2. Both models will be featured. Old and new.

3. I will try to post what specific ones I need next time because I have to sort through a lot of screens.

on www.sandawgs.com ... check match results, click the + next to TFC, then just pick a league, pick a match, go to the "Pics" tab and you have your screens there, click on them for them alone or highlight it for it at the bottom of the screen...it has matches from way back with all sorts of clans

Here is the latest update to those who are wondering:

1. Due to the work load, this avi will not be released till possibly the end of September.

2. There will be a teaser and trailer released over the next few weeks.

I just have one important question. Is there anyway to get rid of the hud and keep the kill/death text? or is it one in the same? If so, then I have a few suggestions I'd like a few people to look at:

1. I can do it so the hud is up for HLTV's, but it may be a little annoying, however it will be easier to see what clans are facing off in certain scenes.

or

2. I can kill the hud and the next and manually put a text message saying what teams are facing eachother, and what player is being focused on. I'll leave this up to everyone.

Here's an update on the avi:

1. Random match footage wont have text but I will show names of those being featured by running a name up the screen. It'll flash enough so it isnt too distracting from the action.

2. There will be outside match footage, showing maps, etc.

As Magus said, I didn't see AF or even SR, which was up top with JS in their day. Someone may still have a demo of SR vs JS on ofire which got casted by guns and was one of the first matches casted. I think a lot of people enjoyed that match up, especailly since it was a close match and Gunslinger got banned in prematch for TKing our team :).. Good times. And yes, CO definently deserves love, and NCA while I am thinking about it.

Hmm, i think I have a couple Talking Goats screenshots...no demos tho cuz my computer wasnt able to record demos while playing :( . I have a screenshot of [DW]'s first matches just a couple weeks after tfc came out. I will see if i can dig it up.

Maybe I can get an old goat to caugh up some screenies.

CSI's website used to have a good amount of screenshots, dunno if it is still up or not.

the size will be huge, but it's because it's going to be almost 20 minutes long. The quality of the picture is very good, sound is coming along great as well. I'm thinking about 200+ mb in size. It's going to be worth it. I fit as many clans in it as I could in the mention section, so most will be happy.

It should be done before Christmas, and I'm trying to fit in as many little things as possible :)

As soon as I am able to send files, the trailer should be up shortly.

well there is old models in the avi, but it's a theme. It goes from old to new, what you saw was the new basically. Trust me, there's a lot of really good old stuff in there, I just showed a small taste of the avi. That's about 2 minutes out of 20 of it.

Thanks for the props, and sorry it was so bright. The finished avi wont look like that, it's more crisp and a lot better.

There's been a lot of people asking to see it, so I decided to upload it to the same spot, it's under MTME.zip I think. It's over 13 minutes long at about 160megs or so. It's worth a look. a little update for you doubters there. The avi is still in the works, but has been slowed down a lot by the holidays, work, and unfortunate death in the family. All signs point to a go though and work on it has been resumed. It will probably take another month though, but so far it's been polished real nicely. I can put it out now as it is and it would be about 10-12 minutes, but it's not to the way I want it. I dont want to put it out until I'm fully satisfied. Thank you all, and those who have been patient.

Well I just read about this now, if there's still time I can get some older members to dig up some screenshots, I play on a diff comp then when i started and the one i played on has since been formatted :confused:
