Model Pack ideas/requests: High FPS and Canadian Patriot

After using the Canadian Flag medpack and the Canadian Flag conc sprite, it got me wanting more. :) Could anyone with any modeling experience put the Team Canada Olympic hockey team jerseys on the player models? :D

Also, I've been going through the models section on C-TFC looking for the lowest quality/file size sprites and models I could find, simply to see how many extra FPS I could squeeze out of my old system (500MHz K6-2, GF2 MX).

Both of these packs I'm sure would get many downloads and much appreciation.

Thanks switch. I was thinking about backpacks, weapon models, keys etc. ANYTHING that could raise your FPS would be awesome.

Also I'd kill for a Canadian pack. I'm a complete patriot. Canada flag shirts, boxer shorts, zippo, big Canada Flag on my wall, I'm in the Canadian Army Reserve (militia we call it), Roots backpack with Canadian flags all over it, getting a tattoo in a year or so with a Canadian flag and a shamrock (irish-Canadian), etc...

I still remember the whole speil about the Canadian conc sprite getting a ton of downloads and the union jack and starts and stripes ones getting very little in comparison. :D

I already made a hockey player, so I did a quickie reskin for you, nothing too elaborate:

Obviously you have to play on the blue team...and this guy isn't low-poly at all. Turn off viewmodels as Senor said and just use the old models. Anything lower-poly than the old models would probably enter the realm of ugly.

I also think all the models with jerseys would be weird, it might be hard to distinguish the classes, etc.

I honestly would play with walking hitboxes if it meant higher fps.

Give them each a separate number, name and logo on the jersey. Not exactly easy to tell the difference from...but other than changing their faces and sizes...those would be the most simple things to change.

instead of having a hockey or tfc player's name on the jersey you could put "SOLDIER" or "HW-GUY" or something. Then for the number you could use each class' # (scout - #1, Soldier - #3 etc.)

Drag I love that model. The jersey itself can be teamcolored just so long as the logo retains its color. Its awesome :D

I'm going to try to teamcolor it myself, wish me luck!

Right now it's team colored, but I didn't spare the logo. That could be corrected pretty easily.

Ooppee, you can go right ahead and do whatever you want with the model.

Hmm...I might consider getting into skinning again...a classic North Stars model would be kind of cool...too bad it wouldn't work other than on 4 team maps. :(
