Clan aM

Clan aM is a new group of old school TFC players. We recruited heavily when we first came into being in order to fill out our roster so that we could participate in leagues immediatly. Those of you that have clanned awhile know that this method of filling out a team is bound to allow in some immature people who, no matter how skilled, will eventually become a detriment to the group. We are now in the process of weeding these people out which is the reason for this post.

We are in need of 1 or 2 Offensive and Defensive players. You should be able to play your best class at a STA Silver level. Many of our core players have participated at plat/titan levels and the plan is to work our way upward from Sta Silver/TFL 3a.

That being said, you should know that the MOST IMPORTANT qualification is MATURITY and DEDICATION. No matter how skilled you are, if you cry, bitch, moan, whine, blame teammates in public for what you percieve to be their shortcomings, refuse to stick by your teammates when things aren't going your way, or simply run away when things get tough...PLEASE DO NOT APPLY. You will not only have wasted both your time and ours, your stay in aM will be very short.

On the other hand, if you fit the above minimum qualifications and are clanless at the moment or unhappy with your current position, and you would like to play with some guys/gal who believe that fun should come first. (And also believe that winning is the most fun. :D ) Drop by #acid_monkeys and speak with Nameless, Louie, or any aM member and they will help you arrange a try-out.

I'm guessing that you guys are getting tired of recuitment posts from Clan aM since I'm getting tired of typing them. But I'm going to keep doing it because after we wade through the wanna-bees and the pretenders and the hackers in disquise, we often times come up with one gem. Last week we were fortunate and came up with 2 keepers; WombRipper and four20, both phenominal, mature players. On the down side we did have to let go one of our best players who was a good guy but just didn't see eye to eye with the 'old school' philosophy aM wants to promote. So please bear with me because I'm going to keep trying to recruit until we have a large enough core of the RIGHT people. I suppose if putting together a good clan were easy, everybody would be doing it; so we will continue to wade through the dozens to find the one.

We are STA Silver and TFL 3a. We will move higher.

We play matches on Mondays and Thursdays. We practice/scrim on Wednesdays and Sundays.

We are looking for any Offensive or Defensive class, although at the moment we seem to be well stocked with engys. If you need to know the other qualifications, read the 1st post in this thread.
