Random Odd IRC Question

This is a question about private channels. Obviously in your public channel (cept |{ cause they're wierd) all the members and recruits get ops. Are there any clans out there that don't give ops to everyone in the private channel? Are like only captains and long standing members with ops and peon for everyone else? Just curious if there are any clans out there that do something like that.

For NCA, bP and PF no. I set both NCA and bP's priv channels to auto op everyone. Vega's a power thristy blood sucking leech but he still gives ops in priv, just not auto ops. Wuv u Vega :)

we used to do that in mF. were we seperated it by rank in the private i believe not to sure long time ago. We did it by recruits peons. members ops. d leader o leader master . co-ldr coowner . and leader owner

My old clan, Get to the Point only let leaders have ops so they could +m it to announce lineups.

AGT does. Peons for r's, ops for regular members in public.

Ops for leaders, and the occasional peon for "special" people.

lol need to moderate at match time. That's what a 3rd channel is for! We used to have it registered now we don't use it enough to care. Join a 3rd channel that way you know who's there and who's not :)

In AFM, Anyone who joins basically has ops in public. In priv, everyone has ops, even some fucks who aren't in the clan *cough* Jim *cough* .. And we use a 3rd channel come match time.

xsm priv gives the leadership ops, the rest voice. i remember agt priv was similar, with a few with voice and everyone else nothing.

|2 used to only op members and peon recruits, in both public and private channel.. but now we dont even make people be recruits, so its not an issue anymore..

yah same here zorro, we op anyone who idles more than exactly 4.5 minutes in our channel. with the exception to film.

and we dont even give our new players the recruit tag, they get full membership and ops in priv channel.

for public -{ARES}- ops the regulars and friends of the clan along with members and recruits. as far as the private channel goes, -{ARES}- only ops the Clan Leaders.
