I'm sure you're like "WTF? How?" But I'll explain. No, is too much. Let me sum up.
My boss was originally going to hold to the "no vacation for first eight months on job" rule. This would mean no vacation for me until winter CPL. :(
Today, he saw me watching skillout on a coffee break. In amazement, he inquires "What is THAT?!?" (with an :eek: face.)
I explain that it is a video from Team Fortress Classic, a game I play on my free time. I explained why it was impressive that these guys were strafing around three sentry guns and conc jumping across Badlands (seeing as I still have to run most of the way across.) I reminded him that I had spoken with him about getting a week off for CPL and asked if he understood better.
Apparently his son plays UT2K3 and wants to go. Bossman says he's reconsidering and might let me off and might even lay off his son a little for being on the computer so much. (I hated it when my parents were like that. It sucked.)
gg TFC. I think it just changed the vacation time policy for my department. :D

P.S. Next I should see if I.T. will stop blocking fileplanet. Need more avis! I can't do .dem's on this computer and no fileplanet access = limited options.
