ok first off i'd like to say that every sinlge person i've asked for avi quality help says "use divx 2000 bitrate...that's perfect"...bleh..my ass it's perfect..i'v went up to 3000 and its still shit. Am i doing sumthing wrong? Is my pc a pos? Is there a better codec? plz some help would be nice.

I don't know how u did 3000 bitrate and say it's not good, 3000 bitrate is pretty close to perfect for my avi's.
Make sure u have up-to-date DivX codec, other than that im out of ideas.

We are gonna need way more info than that. Resolution/fps/latest divx codec, etc.

DivX = lazy man's codec, DivX has been used for a long time and no one wants to take the time to download a new codec like XviD lol....thats what i say....

tfc screen resolutin - 800-600 avi resolution - 700-525 30fps

Try TFC resolution as 640x480 and avi resolution as 640x480. I can probablly attribute the lack of quality in the transfer of resolutions, thats a big no no. When making avis, you generally never want to use anything over 640x480 (in TFC or editing), and definately never change resolutions when compiling.
