I'm makin an avi using videomach and virtualdub

I've only created the avi in videomach, but my footage is longer than my song; therefore, the avi stops at the song.

What do i do?

play with the "in and out" points for the video.. it sounds like Videomach is defaulting the out point for the video to be the same as the audio.

in point = start of video/audio stream
out point = end of video/audio stream

You can set your own points for the audio/video when you want either to start or stop. For instance, if you want the music to play for a few seconds before the video starts, you would set the video "in point" to be a few seconds late.

However, I'd recommend getting Adobe Premiere.. it'll make life easier. Videomach is too limited for real editing.
