League Admin Forum

I don't know how much interest there is among the league admins, but I think it be useful to have a private forum for league admins to bring up issues that they come across that have implications for the community as a whole. Things like potential cheaters, a new steam glitch, coordinating maps so clans don't play 2fort for 4 weeks, etc could be discussed there. There really isn't a place for admins to do that now, other than IRC and emails and I find forums much easier to move information.

Only issues with this that I have thought of are:
1.) Making sure the forum is private and only the bare minimum of Cats admins having access to it

2.) Actively keeping access to it current. IE: someone quits a league job is removed from that forum ASAP

3.) Which league admins to include

4.) Which leagues to include

Any thoughts?

Been there, done that. There was strong interest at first then it died down for what ever reason. I tried restarting the private forum on the tfl site but only 3 admins bothered to register.

I understand where you are coming from Pandelli, but I wonder if it is still better to operate under the present system of cooperation between leagues instead of a central clearing house, so that a checks and balances type of thing is going on between the different league admins. Not that I would think that it would happen, but 'many' would jump on the bandwagon of a central league admin MB thing proclaiming 'player' as a 'whatever type cheat' and then claim it is all a Big Brother type conspiracy.

This idea sounds like the rumored Nexus thing from a bit ago....
