im lost on delta labs 1 :(

im lost on delta labs 1 :(

This is from another forum, but im in the same spot as him

I know this game is linear and Im an eeediot if I get lost.....but.....having said that, Im stuck in the Delta Labs. My objective says "Find the main portal". My location is at the Information SIgn with a map of the Labs on it. Which is in front of the elevators which dont work. I have been all over Labs now for two days, killed everything and covered all the areas on that map. Can anyone please shed some light on where to go for me? I would greatly appreciate it as I love this game but being stuck this long is disheartening. HEre are links to some screenies of my location.

Have you powered up the auxillary and primary generators yet?

ummmm im not sure, i made the sypherical thingy move in a circle...but i dont know about the primary/secondary?

Well Delta Labs plays out like this. You enter the place wander around and come to the auxillary generator. You need to find some transfer device. You walk out and the floor blows out. Continue moving forward from the lobby area with the terminal and you'll find a hallway with weird satanic shit pulsing through it. In the next room you'll find a dead scientist with his arm on something. Pick it up and head back to the Auxillary generator. When you power the generator up most of the doors can now be opened. Now headback to where the scientist was and head through the left door. Work your way through the next few areas and power up the primary generator. Then and only then will the elevators work.
