Heard some stuff on the radio last night that some of his incentives are like

1.5 Million if he goes to the Pro Bowl 4 times in 4 years

3 Million if he wins the Super Bowl 4 times in 4 years

3 Million if he wins the Super Bowl and goes to the Probowl in one year

fucking ludacris, especially with the team he has. no wonder Eli didn't want to go there.

And it's no wonder he's going to be a long contract holdout, similar to Jammer.

How's about 1mil if he's named to the all-rookie team. 1mil if he's named to the first team all NFL 500k first team all-afc. 250k for each pro-bowl appearance. 3mil per superbowl? Is 3 million really too much of a price tag to put on a superbowl victory?

If I were an NFL owner I would say no that would be correct. But the contract offer they offered Rivers was something along the lines of:

Win 4 Superbowls, get $5 million dollar bonus.
Win 5 Superbowls, get $7.5 million dollar bonus.
Win 6 Superbowls, get $10 million dollar bonus.

And no they do not mean 5 million after four SB's then another 7.5 million after five SB's. Instead he would get a total of $10 million if he can win 6 superbowls. I do believe he has to make the Pro-Bowl as well in the same year to get any of them.
