Champs of Norrath is pretty good, I can actually play it with my gf and she enjoys it. It seems to be close enough to Diablo 2 to warrent a court trial but its fun ~

check out disgaea if you were a fan of ff tactics.

not sure how long you've not had a ps2 though. disgaea's been out for awhile now so you might have already played it. in which case la pucelle is made by the same developers and considered a good game as well, but not at the level disgaea was.

Xenosaga Ep. 2, Star Ocean 3 are the two topps coming out any time soon. PS2 hasn't seen near the great RPG's that the PS1 did. Front Mission 4 came out recently, and kicks quite a bit of ass.
