neat.
that % is how much of the items you picked up. in other words you can finish with a very low percent.
lowest I've done is i think 61%.

Metroid Prime is the only game I've played where I got so tired of it that I went and found the ending video online so I could stop playing it.

im totally with BL on this, i didn't get it, every other metroid game before prime and after prime (the 2 gba ones) ive loved and played over and over again.. prime i just couldnt stand, i got like half way though gave up, came back a year later just to finish it so i could sell it, got up to like the boss before the main boss and got bored, sold the game and watched the prime done quick video to see the ending

i quit playin prime the first time i bought it (may '03) after i got the wave beam in the phendrana drifts or whatever...returned the gamecube, prime, and RE 0 two days after i bought it because i couldnt believe how boring it all was...
I got back into console gaming in may of this year, bought a GC with prime, windwaker, eternal darkness, rogue squadron 2, RE 1/3/CVX, MK deadly alliance, SSBM, Ocarina of time master quest, and later on bought turok evolution
Prime was the first game I jumped into, and i enjoyed it a lot more this time around...but all the backtracking for items is a pain in the ass...i've never seen a low percent ending, only the 101% ending that i got, and i thought it was pretty cool, it leaves plenty of room for more storyline while still finishing this chapter nicely. I still enjoyed super metroid more than prime...but seeing as how super metroid is one of my all time favorite video games, it makes anything seem kinda dull
P.S. I would like to find the douchebags who came up with the controls system for turok and maul them mercilessly for putting the final nail in the coffin of the turok franchise (the first one was so freakin awesome...then the rest were just CRAP)
acclaim's bankrupt too, so its not like they'll get a chance to make up for it either :(

Yeah, I bought Evolution on ps2 for 15 bucks and felt ripped off, the sound on the n64 version was better than it was on ps2...
Eternal Darkness is a game everyone needs to get. It really isn't hard at all, you're basically just playing a book, but a wonderful wonderful book. The room they made for the Tome of Darkness (I think that's what it was called) is the greatest looking thing in a videogame I've ever seen...it's freaky as fuck.
A lot of games I've played on gamecube have been huge dissapointments. Mario sunshine...I was so happy when I found out a Mario 128 is in the works and that isnt the Mario for GameCube. Windwaker, sure the worlds huge, but the islands are tiny and the majority of them are useless, plus the ending was fucktarded. Resident Evil 0 is throwing a super-natural curve, saying this guy is able to control leeches with his mind, that kinda made me upset.
I think my intrest in console games might finally be sparked again soon though. Mario 128, Resident Evil 4, Legend of Zelda, Devil May Cry 3 (they learned their mistakes from 2), Kingdom Hearts 2, Viewtiful Joe 2, Destroy All Humans!, and Paper Mario 2 (yes I know those aren't all GameCube) All those games are gonna be winners I tells ya!
