Disc Read Error

When I try to play DVD's I get the infamous error "Disc Read Error" I remember seeing tutorials online, on how to fix this. anyone know a good site or how to fix this error?

try cleaning the disk off use some rubbing alcohol that will help clean it

The best thing I've found to do yet is to get one of those ans of spray air. Depending on wheather your PS@ has been opened or not, you can either open it up and spray the laser off directly, or pop open the CD tray, turn off the PS2, and slide the spray air in there and move it around to get the laser... Sure its a little wierd and intrusive... but it worked for mine.
