problem

when i am running doom 3 sometimes it kicks me right to my desktop for no apparent reason... I close all programs so that all available ram can be used on doom 3 and it still does it. My specs are as follows. ATI Radeon 9600xt 512mb sdram p3 1.7ghz processor and i'm running it on low with no shadows no antialiasing nothing but yet i still get kicked to my desktop If you have any suggestions please let me know i love playing this game however its a little hard to play it when i keep getting kicked to the desktop

I had that problem. With Tron 2.0 as well.

rebooting helps some; having a shitload of room on your hard drive helps as well... and finally, if you download as much as I do, you probably want to defrag a little bit more than usual.
