I saw a flyer for a show here and Beyond the Embrace was on it, so a friend and I decided to go. We get there and there are TONS of those xHxCxxXxX kiddies everywhere. I didn't mind them until the music started. That's when the dancing happened.

hxc means hardcore. I saw a shitload of dancers at ozzfest. With throwdown,bleeding through and atreyu iI dont know how there wasnt hardcore dancing. This is more of an east coast thing, when we travel up into detroit, or go east of ohio for a show, there isnt any dancing. Palmy, why do you hate me :(

hxc dancing is one of things that if you've never done it or never got into it when you did do it... you'll never like it ever. you can still enjoy a show even when stuff like that is going on and you're not apart of it.
some hxc people like to piss off people by intentionally kicking them, but others just like to get into the middle of the pit and do whatever to dance without coming into contact with anyone

As funny as it looks, It actually takes an incredibly amount of skill to actually do it right. Between not hitting anyone and making it look really smooth, (as opposed to that gif, where they just violently swing their limbs in an akward fashion) its a pretty cool thing. I never in my life will attempt it, but I have a strange respect for those silly hardcore dancers :>

edit: I dont know how it is in places farther from me.. generally their tends to be a mosh pit that is pressed up against teh stage, and then a circle behind it for dancing, and the people who just want to watch fill around the cirlce. Ive only seen one person get kicked who wasnted dancing, and it was a dumb cunt girl who thought running back and forth would be funny :(

I didn't see it this time, but half the bands got us to do the Wall Of Death, or a Good Old Fashion Rush. If there were any hxc dancers, they would of got trampled. I don't mind hxc dancers that much except the idiots that try to kick people in teeth constantly. Yes, That is very annoying.
