Just got it today. Just about what I expected from the game, not much has changed from last year except a new "Slam Dunk Contest" that has made the game a bit more fun. The detail of the players is still not as good as ESPN's title but overall EA continues to rule supreme over the sports world. Not a great in depth review but I'll add more once I get in some more playing time :).

Buy it / Rent it / Bag it

Yea, gameplay is alright, the same as you said. You should try the 1v1 lol, Al blocks a shitload of shots. It's like you're trying to get pass a wall, but you can do like spin move everytime and get by. But Al like before is pretty tough and unrealistic; however, the slam dunk contest makes it worth while. I'm trying to put together a guide for all the combos I can do so far.

Can someone do the off season mode and let me know if Tim Duncan signs with the Lakers for the league minimum like he did last year? That kind of shit makes me stop playing.

Actually I played some more and it's pretty good after all (as in the game itself and just not the slam dunk).

lol yea, it doesn't get you anywhere. Just some move I guess they kept in the game for the hell of it. The defender will jump right in front of you if you try it.

I use it somewhat successfully with KG, but I get called for charging alot so it isn't worth it.

Find the game sliders and adjust it.
