Okies, it's a cosmetic mod only - but being a lefty (and no I will never stop crying about the horrors of this affliction as it relates to guirtar options) there's not a lot of choices at retail, especially in the 'low-cost' spectrum.
In fact when I bought this guitar almost two years ago it was the only lefty electric in the house under 400$. It's a decent enough guitar, but I never like the black/black scheme.

Now there is actually a website (www.terrapinguitars.com) that does pickguards for this model, and even custom graphics- but the starting price for even a stock one is 42$.
So, let's see what we can do with a 1.33$ sheet of silver adhesive-backed mylar, and an X-acto knife. Took about an hour of cutting to get a decent edge, but thankfully the bevel of the guard is perfect as a guide.
Are there blemishes, certainly, a couple. But overall it looks decent enough for me, and will help control my hankering for a new axe until I get my bonus in January. And it was inexpensive to boot!
