Not as technical as metal, but not exactly hxc, so i guess its metalcore. Idk, genres aren't my strong point.
Me and a friend have thrown around talks about forming a band and such, but we are lacking other band members and talent. I still make up little riffs here and there, and I have written a lot of poems/songs. So, I make up some semieasy riffs and apply it to a song. I haven't actually recorded one in a while, and I think this is my "best." If you've heard my DMHP stuff, it sounds similiar to that, because I use the same vocals/distortion/ and guitar tuning, but its quite different, the lyrics have some substance (even though you prolly dont understand any of it, woo) and I try to make the guitarwork slightly better than DMHP, lol. And the recording is god-awful. Go Microsoft Sound Recorder!
It's quite long, 10 minutes or so, (I got into a groove or something) and just consists of me on vox and my heavily distorted bass guitar. And this is my first take, so there's lots of mistimings and general messups. (I don't have a metronome or drum machine) If I ever did form a band, it might sound something like this. (Granted, with more practice and other instruments) I'm just wondering if you'd listen to something like this. (I know some of you will hate it by default, heh) Comments are welcome, bash away too, I won't care too terribly much.
