umm.. they don't exactly sound like nu-metal at all.. but they're not anything great either i guess.

Ive only heard a couple of their songs on XM and alot of my friends think they rock so I dont know.

they play a lot of crap on the XM metal/hard rock station, compared to a lot of the other rock stations on there that play a lot of good rarely played songs on normal radio.

Yeah, they have a few nu-metal moments, such as Destroyer of Senses, but they're mostly a modern thrash band. Nothing spectacular, but they do have identifiable phrasing during solos, which is a lot more than most bands can say. Too bad their tone sucks.

personally im not a big fan of shadows fall either although i haven't heard much of their music. i did d/l the two tracks they have up on century media's website and found them at least enjoyable enough to put on my mp3 player. given the choice however, there are plenty of other bands i would listen to first.

i do give them props though for getting to like #20 on the billboard chart.

i can only listen to this band once in a while, some songs are decent some just suck puppet balls.
