my suggestion

- make the flag/key a "Player" to lock on to while in spec mode/HLTV

- something like the Halo2 proximity voice.
Ex: When u die u can hear the other team talking if they are close to your body, untill u spawn

Ex2: If u r close to a player on the other team u can hear what he is saying and he can hear u too.

The voice thing never works out well. CS had it so you could hear enemy radio comms for a while and it sucked. First suggestion is very good, though.
