i took a picture of the pipe into photoshop and took the color and zoomed in a lot

then i changed it to Only Web Colors and it turns out the pipe IS a shade of Yellow more than green

i was bored

It's not yellow or green, it's a mixture of both. And yellow is used slightly more.

seems that a lot of people have the notion that yellow can only be a vibrant color. they're not ideal yellow, but they're definitely closer to ideal yellow than ideal green.

dark/dirty yellow doesn't make it a different color, it's still yellow.
