- Happy I have Pittsburgh Defense
- Happy I picked up Parker on waivers last week
- Angry that Minnesota is terrible and that they lied about making their D better
- Angry that Peyton is being shut down horribly today

-NFC North is absolutly horrid and any team could win (cept the Packers)
-Marcus Pollard got absolutly destroyed by Mike Brown
-Carson Palmer and the Bengals are the real deal even though its just the Vikes
-What the hell is with Indy and their lack of scoring
-I really feel for Baltimore's D, best in the league and simply cant win

edit- god damn why didnt i play the Bears D and Thomas jones

wtf the bengals dont suck? odell thurman is a complete wildabeast 2 forced fumbles this week, an interception and 9 tackles last week. . . defensive rookie of the year unless something crazy happens.

and wtf lions, you are supposed to put 30 up every game. . . replace harrington now.

and the colts' defense got decent somehow. watch out nfl, if they keep holding teams to under 20 points you are fucked.

Should've started Ben Roethlisberger instead of Kurt Warner. He's not doing shit but getting me negative points right now. Should've stuck with my original plan.

Glad Panthers won.
Glad Bears won.
Would've liked the Niners to have won, but we just woke up from the dream.

-All the teams predicted to challenge for the NFC crown have suffered a loss (MIN, PHI, CAR, ATL)

-If you have Culpepper and trade him now, you are dumb.

-I think Shanahan is an arrogant sob, but I gotta hand it to him (or whoever calls the plays for Denver): that play call on 4th and 1 was beautiful.

-Holy crap, Dayne averaged 5.5 ypc.

-Pittsburgh is right behind Denver and KC in terms of being able to plug anybody into the RB spot and have him produce. Parker definitely has some talent, but I don't think he is nearly as good as his numbers would suggest.

-Hats off to the Jags' D.

-JP Losman is going to cause the Bills' to miss the playoffs.

-That offense in Baltimore is horrible.

-As I predicted, Joey Harrington is and always will be complete shit.

-Arizona can't run the ball worth a damn.

-Losing to Cleveland... wow, how the Packers have fallen since giving up that 4th and 26.

-Wow, the Niners are dreadful... How the hell did the Rams lose to them?

bears 15-1 no doubt about it.Considering that today's thrashing of the best team in the Division was the biggest Bears' margin of victory since NINETEEN-fucking-EIGHTY-SEVEN, I'd say that this was an accurate prognostication.

The Bengals are 2-0 (something that hasn't happened in 10 years.)
The Vikings are nothing without Randy Moss
Cincinnati @ Chicago next week - can't wait.
I was at the game and is was awesome.

Very glad I picked the colts for my D right now. Even more glad I picked McNabb for my QB. First time I broke 110 in fanasty points lol.

Gotta give props to Jacksonville though, they left it all on the field. Their QB I forget his name even though hurt almost gave them a W in the last mintue. Very inspiring play. If anyone saw it you know.

Oh, and wtf when did the Pats start to suck...

I don't see any way people can still claim that Baltimore has the best Defense, I think you guys are playing too much Madden.

As far as Willie Parker goes, if you don't think he's the real deal just keep watching him. In his 2 games this season he's repeatedly had to beat guys in the backfield and has been able to bounce off that first hit and then accelerate for huge gains. I'm real interested to see how the Pats gameplan him next week since he's so different from our other 2 monster backs.

I was at the Texans game, and I honestly don't see Carr playing in the league past maybe 3 more years if they don't get an O-line, the Steelers were getting thru from some direction on EVERY PLAY, that poor bastard was just panick-throwing by the end of the 2nd quarter.

Every team that sucked last year, and made a bunch of woohoo offseason moves so they wouldn't suck this year, and had everyone on TV saying how they wouldn't suck, still sucks.

Did you hear that big THUMP?! That was Steve Mariucci hitting the rocks at the bottom of Career Suicide Cliff.

Oh, and wtf when did the Pats start to suck...Byron Leftwich, I just saw it on SportCenter. That was some brass- leaves the game after a seriously hyper-extended leg, get's steam-rolled in the last drive and still gets into striking distance, then just misses on the last play against some sweet secondary D.

It was compelling television, and if he'd gotten the W then we'd all be pointing and laughing at Peyton's futility; instead we're going "OMG Indy has a D!!1"

Seriously, props to Leftwich for 'manning up', but careers have been wrecked on much less risk.

In terms of being a fan it was a good week, Denver won. I only wish, and I know this is sacrilege to say this as a Bronco's fan but I wish Oakland had won so they'd be in a 3 way tie for first. Kansas City is a legit threat now the way their defense is playing. Same thing about the Colts having a legit D. If their defenses play anything like they have the rest of the season then it wouldn't surprise me if either was in the superbowl. The AFC is so stacked right now I can't wait until it comes to the end of the season to see who makes it in then to see some badass playoff games. The Ravens while having a great defense are a joke because they have no offense. Even a super defense like there's will give up points being on the field so much. New England will bounce back from last weeks loss. Add Pittsburgh into the mix and you have at least 4 very strong teams in the AFC right now. Buffalo suffers from Ravens syndrome of not having the offense to get it done despite having a great d.

Fantasy wise, bah. I'm in 5 different leagues and the two that I car about most I lost in this week. In my league with my friends Steve Smith got me 3 whopping points while Housmandzedah (sp?) would have given me at least 15 since he scored twice but oh well. I knew Carolina would stuff Dillon to a degree but I thought he'd get me more than damn near 0 points. Was watching that game and cheering when they made the 71 yard play because they chased the guy out at the one so I thought Dillon would get a shot at it, play action fake instead and 0 points for him.

TD = 6 points

- Chad Pennington will do what Donovan McNabb did in 2003, get questioned for the first 3 games or so and have a breakout year out of nowhere.

- You will see the future star running back of the New York Jets, Derrick Blaylock, get plenty of carries next week now that Curtis Martin has a sprained knee.

- Notre Dame played their hearts out and made an amazing comeback, they will be going places in the future (off topic)

If I wanna win 20 bucks this week, Deuce and Tiki need to both get 20 pts. If I wanna win against the team I'm playing, they need about 12 each.

Chris Baker, the TE for the NYJ scores 18 fantasy points last week, so I pick him up cause I had Chris Cooley. So I put in Baker this week and he gets ZERO. He score a TD and got 120 yards receiving last week, this week he got 3 yards and no fantasy points. GFG Baker.

Patriots stumble in Carolina, but it was a good wake up call for them. I'd also like to point out the conspiracy against them to not make the playoffs this year because the NFL hates dynasties. Week 1 they played Oakland, a solid team all around, this week they played AT Carolina, a tough team who got most of their injured players back and were picked to win the Superbowl by SI. Next week, AT Pittsburgh (division winner last year), the week after that at home against San Diego (division winner last year), the week after that AT Atlanta (division winner last year), and the week after that AT Denver (a team that plays tough at home). Thats 4 out of 5 road games after a tough home opener, and against all quality teams, 3 of which won their division last year. BG NFL.

The SB champ is supposed to have a killer schedule bro, besides, only one or 2 of your last 8 games should even be close. I feel ya tho, Pitt has a pretty shitty schedule after the 2 cupcake games we started with.

the kid is tough, if you remember back in his college days at Marshall he played with a broken leg - the thing was like hanging off of him which was a killer because he was and is a fairly mobile QB and he gritted through the game

this was nothing compared to what he did then, relatively speaking

i on the other hand probably would have cried after that hit Freeney put on him and quit the NFL immediately and later in the post game interview say that Freeney is really really mean

Only 1 other person besides me picked the Bears to win... Was fun watching the offense score 2 (wow) touchdowns..
NFC North should be won by the bears...
Big test for both the bengals and bears on sunday.
