View Full Version : Random Mouse Lockup

Anyone know why my mouse might be randomly locking up while i play tfc? Ive installed the no accel patch. Ive tried the logitech mouseware and the latest microsft drivers no luck.

Is the mouse PS2 or USB?

get a USB to PS2 converter and plug it in that way. When playing a online game, Windows XP's USB sensitivty crashes and your mouse comes in and out. Just pop it in the PS2 and that should fix it. Its not your mouse, its Windows XP.

The only drawback to one is, they cost about 40bucks USD. Most mice come with one, you should look to see if you got one. They are rare and hard to find so they can mark them up real high.

ive always used this mouse fine its just recently its started doin it :/

That was happening to me not even a month ago, it turned out to just be the mouse dying. I upgraded OS's, changed drivers god only knows how many times, switched from USB to PS2 and back, etc... Have you tried using just a crappy $5 ball mouse to see if you get the same problem?
