some of my friends want to make a horrorcore band. (rap with a horror theme to it. ) now I was bored and decided to make a few beats. I would like an honest opinion on the beats. Not the face paint or anything like that just the beats
the beats are here http://www.tagworld.com/somethingevil (I know Something Evil was a canadian punk rock band back in the day but stay with me cause I am curious)
just give a listen to a few and tell me what you think or any helpful suggestions are also welcome
thanks in advance

Actually, I listened. Is this like ICP jr.? If so, go find a river, wash the makeup off your face and proceed to drown yourself, because I am not even sure satan would let douche bags with makeup on their faces into hell. IMHO.

It's like a soundtrack from a playstation game from the late 90's...I'd recommend getting your hands on some better drum samples.

Terrible, this is not music.
Horrorcore, would be hardcore with a horror theme to it. ICP is not hardcore anything. This is rip-off juggalo garbage.

thanks for giving me some sort of imput from a non juggalo fan base. I just made what they wanted and you gave me what I wanted them to see.
now snaggle just out of curiousity which beat/beats did you listen to? because all of them have different samples.

I listened to most of them...they all had a 16bit overcompressed feel, if you can get your hands on some actual drum samples (There are tons of these available at most music stores and online, or better yet...record them yourself.) that would improve things greatly. I just wouldn't call it "horrorcore"...that's a silly name for music.
