For some reason, whenever I join servers now I have to process a bunch of sounds like timer.wav, etc. My AC also makes the gay AC sound, rather than the old one. All my sounds are missing. WTF? Help :(
Any idea what happened and how to fix it? Thanks.

have you checked in your tfc/sounds folder to see if there are some silent files in there?

just a thought. there's an option in Configuration > Audio that allows you to enable high quality sounds. maybe if you check/uncheck that it'll make a difference.

Most of the default TFC sounds are stored in a .pak file, TFC first checks for the sounds in the pak, and if it doesn't find them there, checks the sound folder. Maybe it's possible that you deleted or altered your pak in some way and lost those sounds?

i thought it was vice-versa. It checks the sound folder for any changes, if there is a file in the folder it will use it, if not it will go to the defaults in teh pak file.
