My fiance and I are headed to Hotlanta tommorrow to see this tour. Anybody else been to any of the shows so far? Indie-rock, psuedo-punk pop, type-esque music.
Not a big Amber Pacific fan at all, but I really like the other three bands. I'll let ya know how it was!

a buddy of mine is friends with silverstein's singer, and every time they come down - he does too and gets me on the list. coincidently, every single time they come down i lose track of the days and wind up not going :{
i dont like any of those bands really, though, but free shows are always fun.

The concert was great! There was actually a fifth, opening act called Man Alive that wasn't really very good. Amber Pacific was awesome and had great energy. I would go see them again.
The Early November opened with "Ever So Sweet" and it was awesome! Their whole set was pretty good, though the lead singer isn't much of a showman.
Silverstein definately stole the show! They were absolutely awesome and their leader singer really brought a lot of energy to the stage. I'm a much bigger fan now after seeing them. My fiance, who wasn't sure how she would feel about the screaming, also thought they were the best band there that night.
UNLIKE, Matchbook Romance who was flat out boring as hell. No one was into any of their new stuff, and they had to play their older stuff to really get people jamming. NOT that they didn't sound great, but it's just that their lead singer just stands in one place usually, with his eyes closed, and sings the whole time. It was a big let-down for me as they were my favorite band going in.
It was funny though, because my fiance and I were probably the oldest people there aside from the kid's parents. Lots of 15-18 year old's I think. Still, as I sat there snickering at how young the fans were, I couldn't help but think how promising it is for our culture. I'm 26, but when I was their age, I was listening to 80's hair bands and my sisters were listening to New Kids on the Block. Nowadays, the music means a whole lot more and all the band members play their own instruments usually.
The tour is also for Suicide Prevention, so go support it if it comes near you, everything but the headliner is awesome.

eh i saw silverstein 2 years ago or so, and i thought they were pretty lame. im not a fan regardless - but the singer really annoyed me. inbetween each song hed be like "FUCKIN MAN FUCK WOW THIS VENUE FUCK SO HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU FUCKIN GUYS FUCK FUCK FUCKITY FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK SHOW FUCK FUCK GUITARS FUCK FUCK ARMOR FOR SLEEP FUCK IS FUCKING NEXT"
the only good thing about them playing is that the A.K.A's were right before them, and they were ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY terrible. Ugh that was a horrible show haha.
