Mach3 Tournament
The time has come Mach3 is finally holding a 2vs2 tournament. As most of you know I have been trying to get the guild more active along with sparking some fun in the TFC community. We would like have a big turn out for this event. So if you are 100% going to play pm me in IRC with you and your partners name and steam id’s. The winners of this tournament will become members of Mach3 at the guilds desecration. The guild will be holding a series of events over the course of the next month, so look out for the news.
Scheduling:
The way this is going to work is once I have everyone’s team. I will then randomly set up teams to face each other. Each team is responsible for looking at the bracket once it is setup with all the teams to find out who there opponents are. Then they are to set up a time that is convenient for each team to play. After the match they will submit the scores to me so I can update the bracket. Please record demos so if there are any disputes they can be handled appropriately.
Rules:
12 teams of 2
4 rounds
Round 1: 2v2. Map: Shutdown2 no plank
Round 2(strategy round): Map: Openfire_l. There will be a series of SG(4) placements and each team will have to try and cap as many times as possible in the allotted time. The top four teams will move on to the next round. *note you can not kill the SG’s*
Round 3: Map: Push. Medics only
Round 4: 2v2 monkey_l
Each round will be played normal 2v2 style of 15 minute rounds. For rounds 1 and 4, One team will play Offence and the other will play Defense then switch. For round 2 you will need to contact one of the following mach3 members. Constrict or, Flank, Heat or Morael. Also for the finals we would like the two teams to contact one of us, so we can watch.
