As they say, "every great thing must come to an end". With this I announce the retirement of clan Krazy Old Bastards - KoB -. Since it started in Nov/Dec 1999 the clan has never gone inactive. Many people have come and gone (and come back again), but usually left due to their retirement from tfc. This is something we always prided ourselves on. We were never about winning at all costs. The clan was started by Beezlebubba and Iunknown. Beez lead the clan by himself for several years and then handed the reigns over to Pwnisher for a short period before coming back. I think Siegfried also lead for a bit. Veggicide and myself(Cerumen aka Cer) co-lead once Beez left again. Then Veg retired and by process of elimination I was sole leader and have been for the last 2-3 years. We absorbed/practically absorbed a couple clans along the way as well. We took on the remnants of the Pact and also a good amount of FxP in more recent times. The clan would have died years ago if it were not for Siegfried and his dedication to the clan and especially to recruiting people. Other people we need to thank are Minnesota Knight (server, player, etc etc), Blues|Ir8 (years 3-4 server etc) and Siegfried yet again. We would also like to thank the leagues for having us for so long (tfl, sta, ogl).

Notable stats taken from Konspiracy.org include:
- 5th most wins ever (1st most wins of active clans)
- 1st in most losses ever (all Beez's fault)
- 2nd in most matches played ever (2nd to only TDA)
- Numerous title wins

In all our time we only had 1 person who was caught hacking in a match. Blashy. Two people were ever kicked out of the clan. Some guy who I dont know from long ago, and Bobby^ who was later caught hacking.

There are numerous clans we considered to be a pleasure to play. At the top of the list was 46&2, Dead Clans, THOA, SIN, FOOM, FxP, iS, -T-, Warlords of Beer and anything with Unfor in it. There are many others that I'm sure I am forgetting right now.

Many of us had the pleasure of meeting and lanning/hanging out. Three Bastardfests were held. One at Beez's house in Houston nd two at Siegfried's in Montreal (damn frenchies).

Many of the active kob players will continue to play tfc, so I encourage you to recruit them. People who I think will continue will be Highos, Shooterstour, Rudeboy, Heathen, Telos, Shade, and of course myself. I will encourage Gibmanmntl, Siegfried, and Beez to add to my above post.
