#masslan this year or no?

with all this talk of the NATourney, people have been ignoring the yearly tradition of a MassLan thread (MassLan thread stressed because the Lan didn't happen last year)

sooo, where are you Ares, and whats the deal with the Cummings Center or that new place you spoke of opening? Is anyone willing to take charge of a MassLan, because I now have my beastly computer and 3 weeks vacation hours, and would love to at least fit one more of these lans into the community before it dwindles down even more!

anyways the site is not responding for me and i just want a status check on the whole thing.

Holy shit. Wow... i'm suprised and honored you all are talking about MASSLAN and i havn't said squat about it in 3 months. Yes MassLAN is comming. I've been busy lately with school and organizing the lan center. I am indeed renting a basement space at the Cummings Center, Less restrictions than the space we had before. Also easier to access.


I have the proper investors. The lease is being signed in april/may. We will be moving in mid-June-July. Where i will have two lan paties one for the wreched CS players for cash flow, and then the fun ass TFC guys!

Once we have an opening date I will buy the website domain back and set up the events page immediatly! I look foward to seeing all of you again.

Just make sure you dont hold anything on the weekend of May 27th & 28th.. Ontario TFC LAN is being held then.

If you need any help setitng up a site for MassLAN I can set you something up. Also I will be driving down from Canadia and bringing 3 others with me.

The cummings center is in beverly MA, *up north near salem ma) Right off rt 128 exit 22E. rt 62 east. Stay on that road and the cummings center is on the right. I can host up to 80 people. We will have some computers for thoes who are driving a long way and they will be free of charge first ones to book the comp first ones to use the comps. we should have 24 computers to book, and space for boyc. Chances are we will have a definate poker room, beer fridge, etc. I will keep everyone posted and hopefuly i will have a website up soon!

never used ax1 in my life and haven't used clear explosions in a real long while :cool:

I'll see what i can do for the ontario lan. Depends on the money situation with the masslan start up.

Maybe because canadians have been talking about having a tfc lan for years and i don't think one was successful or followed through yet eh? :-P

There are only 2 lans i know off that were able to do strictly tfc. Masslan (the second one because the first was split with CSers (sorry again guys!) and the ES lan, in kentucky was it or kansas i don't remember, alls i know is daze drove a hella a while for a guild lan and it looked like alot of fun.



No age requirement nessisary mashi, However if your under 18, i'll need parental release form etc. legal stuff. bleh.

And yes T00l. THOA lan 06 maybe this time you guys can get two full teams like you promised last masslan!

me, jackal, fg are from CT - loche is from MA (?) - we had gump drive down from buffalo last masslan which was a fucking blast. this year i'll make sure fg comes too along with some other cats like boslim (MA) along with griffith and his crew (PA).

I dont see why anyone has a problem splitting the lan up with csers and or playing other games. If it gets more people to go then thats great!
I play tfc occasionally only nowadays but do enjoy it still from time to time.
I will definitely be going unless something happens to prevent me from it! Hopefully we could play some other games for fun too. Also if anyone in souther NH needs a ride there I don't mind.
